My diverse perspectives and extensive knowledge of cannabis come from a decade of unique industry experience that began on the legacy farms of Northern California’s infamous Emerald Triangle. I have had the pleasure of learning about the cultivation, processing, and business of Cannabis across Humboldt, Trinity Pines, and Mendocino Counties, and more recently, in Ontario, Canada. Working with master growers from seed to sales has given me a deep understanding and respect for the plant and the people who risked their lives for generations to legalize it.

I’ve developed a sensory approach to Cannabis education and consulting, specializing in cannabis aromatics and the successful therapeutic applications of terpenes in cannabis medicine.

I have been a featured cannabis expert and guest speaker for Tokeativity, The Budtenders Association, MediPharm Labs, GrowUp, Plant Cunning Podcast, KGLTV, and LoudPDX, and I have published several articles on Cannabis and Aroma in Canadian Cannabis magazines. I also host my podcast, The Smoking Spot, where we talk about all things Cannabis and terpenes!

In my 20s I travelled the world as a street musician in a travelling folk punk band. Mostly hitchhiking, I've been to every state in the US (except Hawaii), every province in Canada, and across Mexico. I jumped the pond and wandered around Europe and the UK for a year playing shows with my friends and trying all the local food and "green". I also spent a few weeks on the island of Svalbard near the North Pole, and a month in Taipei. I love to travel but these days I mostly play acoustic guitar in my living room!
