Nick

Hello, my name is Nick and I’m here to help you as your personal budtender! I’m here to guide you, answer all your questions, and to be the person you can rely on to comfortably share how you feel and your experiences with cannabis.

I was born and raised in Bermuda -yes, that Bermuda.. like the triangle. I have had a keen interest in biology, plants, animals and how things work since I was a young kid growing up in along the shores of Bermuda. I have a passion for the outdoors, animals, plants, and the environment. I love hot peppers and have been growing and making selected crosses since I was young. I have always had a fond relationship with the water, and I am a certified PureApnea freediver up to 26 meters. I also love to spear fish and deep-sea fish whenever I am home.

Cannabis is still illegal in Bermuda, so I was never able to enjoy products openly and freely. As a kid growing up, I had severe debilitating cluster migraines which took me out of school for weeks at a time. I tried varying medications over the years and one day a classmate gave me a joint to try out for my pain and cluster migraines. Ever since then I have a big proponent of cannabis and the benefits that we can gain from it in our lives.

I moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada in 2013 to double major in Biology and Psychology at St. Mary’s University. During this time, I was induced to cannabis again- but in a much better environment and the quality was night and day compared to the imported brick weed filled with stems and seeds. During this period at university, I started home growing to supply myself with quality cannabis. When cannabis became legal in Canada, my university started to offer a biology course on cannabis. Most of my knowledge about Cannabis comes from self learning and research, as I had started collecting every book, research paper and academic studies I could find for my own exploration, education, and quest for knowledge. I have learned quite a lot over the years about the cannabis and have an extensive seed collection of quality and hard to find genetics. I have experience with different systems such as outdoor and indoor growing and I have utilized different growing mediums such as soil, coco coir, rockwool, DWC, RDWC and even experimented with high pressure aeroponics.

Prior to becoming a UTNDR, I was a nutrient representative for a cannabis nutrient and irrigation company based out of California. During this time, I was fortunate to be able to consult on numerous home grows, greenhouses, and full scale cultivation facilities both indoors and outdoors.

I'm passionate and experienced in all things cannabis and can guide and give information to all experience levels- from novice to connoisseur. It can be challenging navigating the waters as a newcomer to cannabis with all the products, options, dosage, different strains, terpene profiles and chemical compositions of the strains and then using that information to make a decision. I am here to help!

I am very familiar with many of the brands and LP's in the Canadian market. I stay up to date on the overall progress of the global legalization of Cannabis around the world.

So, whether it comes to the basics or the advanced, the home growing questions or the commercial production or even just some education and chit chat, Id love to help! I am excited to be able to share my knowledge I have grown over the past few years in the industry; by listening to your needs, wants and concerns you may have about different products.

Let me help you!
